SARIKUM DINING HALL

Sarıkum Natural Reserve Area consisting four in a row ( forest, sea, sand and lake ) which starts from 19. Km of Sinop – Ayancık highway, is a place worth seeing. Nearly 150 bird species live into forests around the lake and this area is only alternative for bird watchers. Since the area is on the migration route, almost 20.000 bird and duck species roost here between September and March. Some of them stay and breed, while others continue to migrate.
Since our University aims to maintain the cultural heritage of Sinop such as Ahmet Muhip DIRANAS who was one of the famous writers of Turkish Literature, the name of the Natural Reserve Area far from 15 km to our Hotel “Sarıkum” is given to Hotel’s Dining room.
Sarıkum Dining room has 110-person capacity and offers to you unique Sinop’s matchless city-view. Besides open buffet breakfast service at weekends, it is ready to serve you for your special organization with its nearly 200-person capacity.
